Children’s Profiles II

The following children are day school pupils at Peace Matunda and are on the waiting list for accommodation with us. Their stories are of equal heart-ache and hardship to those with us and they are all in need of your support through sponsorship and / or donations. Please read their profiles and contact the project manager if you wish to support them.

Please note, that if the child’s birthdate is not listed it is because there are no records or birth certificate.

Emmanuel Daniel: Emmanuel's mother was at primary school pupil when she fell pregnant with him, shortly after giving birth she died. His father is not known. Emmanuel has a severe eye and ear problem, which we are seeking help for from sponsors & donations. Emmanuel is now staying with his grandmother who is very old and can’t take as good a care of him as she would like. He is really in need of education and housing. DOB: 01/01/2001 Class: One

Ibrahim Chares: Ibrahim was abandoned by his mother when he was one, his father is not known. His mother has not be seen or heard from to date. He is now staying with his grandmother who is a farmer and very old. He is really in need of education and food. Ibrahim was born 2004. Class: Kindergarten

Pamela Lazaro: Pamela’s parents died when they were working at the Mererani mining centre. She is now staying with her grandmother who is not able to care for her because she is also looking after two other grandchildren whose parents have died. Pamela was born in 2002. The grandmother’s house is not good because there are no windows and doors in the house. Pamela really likes going to school. Class: Two

Hendry Peterson: Hendry lives with his mum but sadly his dad died when he was born. The mum does not have a job or a farm so she can’t take care of her son and her daughter (Mery, who is staying at the orphanage). Hendry was born in 2006. Class: Baby

Alex Elias: Alex has neither parent. His mother became sick when Alex was very small and died; his father hasn’t been seen since Alex was born. He is now staying with his grandmother who is very old and also taking care of other grand children. He is really in need of education, food and shelter. DOB: 24/09/2004 Class: Baby

Diana Emmanuel: Diana’s mother abandoned her and her father when she was very small. Shortly afterwards her father died leaving Diana to live with her grandmother who is very old and sick. Diana is really in need of food, education and clothes. Their house is not in a good condition. She was born in 2001. Class: Two

Nickson Moses: Nickson was abandoned by his father at a young age. He was left to his mother who also became sick and died. He has an eye problem, which we are seeking help for from sponsors and donations on our ‘wish list’. He is now staying with his grandmother and his younger brother Baraka Moses. Nickson is really in need of education, food and clothes. He was born 2001. Class: Three PRIORITY SPONSORSHIP REQUIRED - NOT SPONSORED

Nelson Tadayo: Nelson’s father died when he was one. He was born on 13th Jan 2004. Nelson has had chest problems since he was born and a deformity of his airways so has difficulty breathing at night. He has remained with his mum who is not working and does not have a farm. She does not have enough money for on-going medical care for Nelson. Class: Kindergarten

Glory Jackson: Glory’s mother is alive but their dad died when her and her brother were still young. Their mum is a farmer. Victor Jackson is the oldest he was born on 23rd April 2004 and Glory Jackson was born on 22nd Jan 2003. They are really in need of education, food and shelter. Both are on the waiting list for accommodation at Peace Matunda. Class: One

Isack Everson: Isack’s mother abandoned him when he was 2years old. He is now staying with his grandmother, his father’s whereabouts are unknown. DOB: 14/04/2000 Class: Three PRIORITY SPONSORSHIP REQUIRED - NOT SPONSORED

Onesmo Bethuel: Onesmo is Danielson’s brother. Their father abandoned their mother at young age and she does not have the finances to bring them up. They have an older brother who is in need of an operation and therefore there is no money to pay for Onesmo and Danielson’s education or welfare. They are currently on the waiting list for accommodation at Peace Matunda. Onesmo DOB: 20/01/2004 Class: Kindergarten

Danielson Bethuel: Danielson is Onesmo’s brother. Their father abandoned their mother at young age and she does not have the finances to bring them up. They have an older brother who is in need of an operation and therefore there is no money to pay for Onesmo and Danielson’s education or welfare. They are currently on the waiting list for accommodation at Peace Matunda. Danielson’s DOB: 08/02/2002 Class: One

Invocavity: Both Invocavity’s parents are deceased. She has three other siblings all living with different relatives for the short-term future. There is not enough money to pay for her education or welfare so she is currently on the waiting list for accommodation at Peace Matunda. DOB: 11/03/2001 Class: One
